- What routers do people suggest these day? I am currently using vintage Linksys WRT54GL boxes I got a while back that I am using as bridges from parts of the house to other parts. Since they have a closed broadcom chip in them they are using a 2.4 kernel with OpenWRT and such installed.I would like to look at something that is more open/stable.
- What Wireless OS do people suggest? I have OpenWRT on one and DD-wrt on another. I think I will go with the same on all the boxes just to keep upkeep simplest.
- Anyone set up radius with WPA2 and have it work for windows, mac and linux?

Looking for info: Wireless Routers
So its time to better wire (or unwire) the house so that I can get a better signal in the other parts of the house.

That a look at

Lots of routers that are open source friendly, even with the latest 802.11n support.
I use Tomato firmware on my WRT54G router and I think it is excellent.

Try the D-Link DIR-825. It has two independent Radios (2.4GHz/5GHz) and a 4 Port Gigabit Switch as well as a Gigabit WAN port and of course 802.11n.
I use it with OpenWRT here and have a howto for installing it on my Blog.
i second the tomato firmware...though its not friendly with my router i have heard good things
Hi!
There are of course a lot of sites about Wi Fi routers. I found these four;

www.netgearwirelessrouter.net
www.linksyswirelessrouter.net
www.wirelessnetwork-wirelessinternet.com
