I want to thank the following bloggers for helping me today when my brain completely forgot my lvm commands. I blame old age (400+ years is quite a bit of memory to hold around.)
but I figured I needed to make up a list for myself since I keep forgetting and having to go through the commands each time.
First make sure there is a partition. The disk isn't too large so we will use trusty old fdisk.
fdisk /dev/vdb
