Ad Astra Per Aspera

I think it roughly translates to "To The Stars Very Violent". The next two weeks have many memorials to those who lost their lives in the US Space Launch programs. There are similar memorials to losses in the Russian and other national launches, but the US memorials came up today in Wired.

    It's the Kansas state motto, in school we were taught that it means "to the stars through difficulties".
