Taking a vacation from Fedora...

Looking over my posts over the last couple of months, I have turned into the stereotypical grey-beard with lots of complaints about changes and ideas. I have come to realize that what I want from a distro is not the same as others and I should not be the standard to which to hold them.

So I am taking some time to do some thinking and see if I can remember what I enjoyed about computers a while back.

Happy hacking and good luck with Fedora 10.

  1. Enjoy the break; I've done it before and usually come back very refreshed and ready to go at it again. If not, you'll know it was the right thing.

  3. Michael DeHaan posted something interesting this morning about communities needing a diversity of opinion. I totally respect your decision but remember how much your words are valued by many of us, and we look forward to having them in the discussions when you come back!
